Hello everybody. It’s Louise Beattie from Working A Better Life. And today I’m joining you with a bottle of wine. Why? Because I want to share with you an example of how simple it is to make people feel good about spending money on your products and services. And this is really important because the better people feel about spending money with you and giving you money for your products and services, the more likely they are to give you more money and the more likely they are to give you money again in the future. And the more likely they are to recommend you to their friends as well, who may also spend money on you. So that’s why I am I sat here with a bottle of wine in the afternoon.on Well it’s okay, it’s closed. My husband and I are members of a wine club called Naked Wines.
So it’s not like most wine clubs, it actually has a bit of a cause attached because Naked Wines fund and invest in small independent winemakers. So yes, you do get, your wines cheaper than if you were to buy an equivalent at say the supermarket. But it’s also wines that are from independent winemakers rather than the big mass chains. And you know, for some people like us that feels good to do that. And usually on the back of the wine there on the label, there is a message to the angels, people who are members of Naked Wines are known as Angels. And so every night when we sit and have our, our glass of wine with a meal, we quite often sit there with, you know, have the bottle on the table. We always read the label and it makes us feel good about spending money with Naked Wines.
And an example of why that is, here’s the, a message on the back of this bottle’s label. It says ” Dear Angels, This wine has been yours since the beginning. As without you, it simply wouldn’t exist. My first one was a very small production and a bit of a treat. So Naked Wines challenged me to make you another sensational wine at a sensible price. With Angel Funding, I’ve made you this wine with huge sense of responsibility and overall with enormous gratitude and also some grapes. Thank you.” So it makes us feel good every time we sit and have our wine. And it makes us feel good more importantly about spending money on the wine with, Naked Wines . We are, we probably spend a bit more money on our wine now than we did when we went to the supermarket, but we do this repeatedly and we’re happy to do it because through a simple message on the back of the wine, we’re reminded that we’re helping independent winemakers.
And that’s important to us. So my question to you is, how can you make your clients and customers feel good about spending money with you so that they come back and spend more or maybe spend a bit more each time or that they recommend you to their friends or family. So that’s, that’s my challenge to you. How can you make your clients feel good about spending money with you.
